Mowing The Yard Made Easy
There are different types of Lawnmowers on the market to fit any budget and type of lawn. There are several options that should be considered before making a purchase. First you need to choose what type of speed control is best for the yard you will be mowing. There are push mowers for small yards or for someone who wants to do little extra work while mowing and there are self propelled models that drive the mower for you. Self propelled mowers are the most common and come in variable speeds that can be controlled by the operator depending on the speed you want to walk behind the mower.
The second choice needs to be what type of mowing the Lawnmowers need to perform. There are several options involved, the three most common methods of mowing are discharge, bagging, and mulching. Discharge will allow the mower to discharge the lawn clippings out the side of the mower. During the fall season many people will bag the clippings since leafs tend to clutter the yard and clog the discharge on the mower. The most popular and environmental method of mowing would be mulching. Mulching will require a mulching blade to be installed on the lawnmower. This method does not discharge the clippings, the blade cuts the grass into fine pieces that fall back into lawn.
There are other types of Lawnmowers available for larger yards as well. Riding lawn mowers are popular with people with large yards, they have a larger cutting deck that usually contain a two cutting blade system. Zero turn mowers are also used for large areas that need mowing, most commonly used by commercial landscape crews and are very easy to maneuver around trees and landscaping beds. Toro and Gravely manufacture zero turn lawnmowers that are very popular and used by landscaping crews.

Before you make the final decision on what type of mower you buy, you should also consider how easy it will be to get replacement parts. Some models have rechargeable batteries to aid in starting the mower. For anyone who is environmentally friendly, cordless electric and battery operated mowers are available. There are many manufactures of mowers on the market, buying a mower that will last will save you time and money in the long run.
